Bobbi Brown has designed her very first BB cream, intended for fall season of 2012. The product is named simply: Bobbi Brown BB Cream SPF 35, and it arrives on the market in July 2012 at all Bobbi Brown counters, Nordstrom and online.
BB creams have come to the center of attention about a year ago and they have probably been 2011’s biggest beauty trend. Thanks to their popularity in Asia, BB creams have slowly conquered the world as many the international beauty brands have launched their variants. Garnier was the first big brand of the west to launch its Miracle Skin Perfector, followed by Clinique, Estee Lauder, Maybelline, L’Oreal and many others. It seems like Bobbi Brown arrives on the stage as a late bloomer, launching a very promising products even though months after her main competitors.
Bobbi’s new BB Cream SPF 35 is, just like any other BB cream, a hybrid of a skincare and makeup product. Its formula blends SPF, moisturizer, skin treatment and tinted foundation, leaving the complexion nice and even, perfectly natural and fresh. The greatest benefit is achieved over time – a brighter, more even skin tone, fine lines and wrinkles, and reduced redness and pore appearance.
The product is available in five different shades, and it retails at $42.
