Deborah Lippmann is launching an exclusive collection for the Barneys New York.

Unlike most of the collections exclusive to the retailers, the new Deborah Lippmann range will not be issued in a limited edition. This is going to be a permanent collection for the famous upscale retailer, which consists of twelve new shades, each inspired by Lippmann’s visions of the Barney’s customers.

The new Deborah Lippmann for Barneys New York collection features one very special shade, Gold Digger, which is formulated with 24-karat gold flecks. The bottle of this shade is the most expensive in the range, as it costs $50, instead of typical $24 per bottle. Deborah Lippmann nail polishes for Barneys New York will be a bit different in comparison to her signature bottles. As you can see, the Barneys collection will have white tops, instead of the black ones. As Lippmann explains, this subtle change reflects the in-store aesthetic while, at the same time, helps differentiate itself from Deborah Lippmann’s other collections. As announced by Deborah Lippmann, this new collaboration is just one of the several offerings which will be released throughout the year to celebrate the 15th anniversary of Lippmann’s nail collection. Deborah Lippmann is also planning an exclusive line for Sephora. The brand is currently available in about 320 doors in 20 countries.
