January sees the international launch of Bobbi Brown’s brand new makeup collection designed for Spring 2013. Today I’m bringing you the sneak peek, and some basic information on what kind of shades and products to hope for.
A couple of weeks ago, at the Billy Reid Spring 2013 Show, Bobbi Brown shared her visions about Spring 2013 beauty trends. For the upcoming season, the famous makeup artist recommends barely-there makeup, really natural with flawless, even and a little bit more matte complexion. The shimmers and sparkle are reduced to dewy cheeks and the lips are flushed with soft and sheer colors.
The central items of the collection are certainly the new Bobbi Brown Retouching Powders, which are described as “the miracle workers of the season.” The powders have a lightweight texture and they are used as skin perfectors. They are completely invisible on the skin, but they can make you look retouched! The new Bobbi Brown Retouching Powders will be available in six shades: yellow, rose, pink, peach and white. The last two of them are limited edition shades. This product is delivered in 4.7 g jar.

Bobbi Brown Tinted Eye Brightener is designed to give a sheer coverage to the under-eye area. It is formulated to instantly brighten under-eye circles and refresh your makeup. The 6ml pen applicator is now updated and it arrives in a glass tube, similar to a lipgloss, and in five shades. Some of them are already in brand’s permanent line, and a couple of them are new:
- Porcelain Bisque – ceramic
- Light Bisque – shallow pottery color
- Porcelain Peach – pale peach
- Light to Medium Peach – peach
- Peachy – peachy pink
Bobbi Brown Brow Pencil is a creamy, blendable pencil priced at $20.00 for 1.15 g. For spring 2013, the brow pencil arrives in a new shade named Rich Mahogany – dark brown.
Bobbi Brown Sparkle Eyeshadow combines shimmering pearls and fine glitter in a makeup product that is perfect for both day and night.
- Silver Moon – satin,
- Ballet Pink – pink skin,
- Mica – light gray,
- Cement – ash brown,
- Black Chocolate – jet black,
- Gold Star Venus - gold
