MAC and Liz Goldwyn Fabulousness Collection

MAC has teamed up with famous American artist, filmmaker and fashion muse Liz Goldwyn to create a small bug gorgeous beauty collection for holiday 2012. I already posted about this collection a couple of weeks ago, but MAC has just released the official information so why not share it....

Fabulousness Collection is a rather small, three-piece line that includes a brush bag, an evening-style clutch and a hanging bag loaded with MAC products. The shades are vintage and feminine, picked to help you replicate Goldwyn’s recognizable classic Hollywood style. The lace motif is not chosen by chance since Liz is also a lingerie expert, having created a book and an documentary about burlesque. A pair of leopard-print panties, some black laces and nets, from her own wardrobe, were source of the inspiration for the bags. As you can see on the promo images, the bags feature an interesting pastel-leopard print, they're finished in plastic and have lace&nets motif on the interior.

In an interview for WWD, Liz Goldwyn said: “I was looking for the perfect makeup bag with a classic boudoir look when I saw John Demsey [group president of MAC’s parent, the Estée Lauder Cos. Inc.] during Oscar week in 2011. I asked him why they weren’t making any, and he said, ‘Why don’t you do it?’” and that's how it all started...
