My L’Oreal Colorist

L’Oréal has just launched a handy mobile app named My L’Oréal Colorist. The app is compatible with Apple products and designed to help you find your perfect hair color shade.

The goal was, of course, to take the guesswork out of choosing the right hair color shade. The new app, My L’Oréal Colorist, is something like a personal color consultant that helps you get professional hair color results from the convenience of your home.

The app is free and you can find it at Mac Apple Store. When you first run this app you’ll be asked to either “Scan a Shade” or “Find a Shade.” If you opt for the first choice, you’ll be able to use the camera of your device to scan the barcode of the shade you’re interested in. The other option is actually a recommendation wizard that generates the perfect shade for you, based on your answers in a short questionnaire. The software will take these in account and recommend one of the shades from five of L’Oréal’s 17 hair-color brands: Superior Preference, Excellence Crème, Féria, Healthy Look Crème Gloss Color or Sublime Mousse by Healthy Look..
