ABOUT THE BRAND: From the Italian beauty company Manetti & Roberts founded in 1843, Acqua alle Rose is a line of facial cleansers and moisturizers made with a range of natural ingredients. The power of rose extracts joins the properties of essential oils such as Jojoba Oil and Argan Oil to create effective yet delicate cosmetic formulas rich in virtue thanks to Caffeine and Vitamin C and E.

USE: Cleanses and brightens without soap or parabens; suitable for sensitive skin. Apply with circular movements and rinse with lukewarm water, or simply remove excess with cotton ball for extra moisturizing.

AROMA & TEXTURE: The texture is a light, creamy milk cleanser with a subtle, tangy Centifolia, Damascena and Canina rose aroma. The scent lingers gently after use, especially if applied and then removed without water. If left on skin, the product leaves no oily residue.

NUMBER OF TIMES TESTED: Three times from a 200ml pump I purchased myself.

INGREDIENTS: aqua, isopropyl isostearate, glycerin, octyldodecanol, caprylic/capric triglyceride, isohexadecane, peg -100 stearate, glyceryl stearate, cetearyl alcohol, butyrospermum parkii butter, argania spinosa kernel oil, oryza sativa brano il, rosa gallica flower water, rosa centifolia flower extract, rosa canina fruit extract, rosa damascena flower extract, parfum, sodium benzoate, xanthan gum, acrylates/c10-30 alkyl acrylate crosspolymer, cetrimonium bromide, disodium edta, sodium hydroxide, tocopheryl acetate, phenoxyethanol, lactic acid, propylene glycol, peg-40 hydrogenated castor oil, citronellol, geraniol, hydroxycitronellal.

ABOUT THE PACKAGING: The 200ml bottle is an easy to use pump in cobalt blue and white colors. The labels hearken back to antique apothecary bottles.

PROS & CONS: Argan oil offers elasticizing and anti-aging properties while rose extracts offer anti-inflammatory properties with a complex array of minerals and antioxidants. The gentle formula is paraben and soap-free and doubles as a non-greasy moisturizer. Smells amazing; perfect for rose lovers.

Due to limited distribution, Acqua alle Rose products can be difficult to find outside of Europe.
