Celli Shave Introduces the World's Most Expensive Razor Shaving Set

What do you give to someone who has everything? How about the world’s most expensive grooming set?

Grooming brand Celli Shave has just released a limited edition handmade razor blade set that comes with a price tag of $5,000 USD. The set named /V Shaving Set was initially launched as a 500-piece limited edition, but only 388 of them are still available for purchase from the brand’s website.

The handcrafted shaver, stand, and the brush are made from precious ebony wood. What seems to be the world’s most luxurious shaving tool is actually compatible with the popular line of Gillette Mach 3 and Venus blades. It comes in a custom made wooden box housing the brush and razor stand, 4 Mach 3 Replacement Blades, Marble Shaving Bowl, and Cremo Shaving Cream.

The type of wood used for this luxury grooming set is black and white ebony wood, or pale moon ebony, a rare material sourced from India and Southeast Asia. The wood itself is very expensive, almost like a solid-black types of ebony. To protect the wood, the razor and shaving brush handles are coated with a custom waterproof seal.

The handcrafted marble shaving bowl was made from a solid block of stone. The interior of the bowl features small micro-ridges that serve to help whip up rich, creamy lather. The set also includes a 6 oz. bottle of Cremo Shaving Cream, which comes with a promise of clean, comfortable shave with less razor burns.

The high end /V Shaving Set is currently $5,000 on CelliShave.com. The brand also offers the /XXV double edge shaving blade rosewood gift set for $25,000. Only five of them have been made and none of them have yet found its owner.
