Chanel Huile de Jasmin

Chanel lunches Huile de Jasmin in March 2017, based on the original formula created by Gabrielle Coco Chanel back in 1927. Huile de Jasmin is a revitalizing facial oil with jasmine extract, formulated to make the skin look luminescent. It represents a reinterpretation of the precious emblematic treatment from the history of the house and from the Coco’s own beauty counter.

The oil nourishes and repairs the skin, made of many, mostly natural oils and ingredients. The formula transmits its revitalizing properties to the skin, providing comfort and elasticity. Jasmine oil from Chanel's own fields in Grasse is the main ingredient, paired up with camellia, limnathes alba and jojoba oil. The jasmine that is used is collected by hand on the day of its emergence to preserve all its properties.

The facial oil provides a moisturizing and strengthening effect, protecting the skin’s barrier and provides it with comfort and suppleness. In addition, it reduces the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines.

Chanel did a clinical evaluation on 33 women to test the product. The results are:

You can use Huile de Jasmin daily or as a cure treatment, according to the needs of your skin. It can be used directly on the clean skin, under a serum or a cream, for women who feel their skin is tired and lacks vitality, or combined with a cream, for women looking for additional comfort in a single application, or even with a foundation, for a touch of luminosity.

The ultimate chic packaging screams luxury, reminiscent of the original one from the 1920s. The product is a limited edition.  It will only available on Chanel.com and in Chanel's own boutiques from March 2017. A 50 ml bottles will be around $120.
