China Glaze for Summer 2013 – Texture Collection
Published: 2012-09-06 by Marina MilojevićJudging by these sneak peek images of the upcoming Texture Collection by China Glaze, the major nail trend in 2013 is going to be a textured manicure.
After shatter nails and magnetic manicure - which were the hippest nail trends in 2011 and 2012 -textured nails are slowly becoming more and more popular. Caviar manicure, by Ciate, or even velvet-coated nails, were developed from experimenting with luxuriant textures and finishes. This season's major nail trend are all different variants of this theme, gorgeous and exciting nail polishes that play with textures.
OPI has also released the Gold Leaf top coat, inspired by the upcoming James Bond movie. This shade is named after the movie - The Man with the Golden Gun – and it arrives on the market in October. This polish is designed to replicate the look of 18 karat gold leafs and create a truly dazzling effect.
The only reason I'm mentioning this is to introduce the new China Glaze collection for summer 2013. It seems that one of our favorite nail brands is a late bloomer, since their first textured polish collection arrives on the market in March 2013. This is an early preview, and there is no official information at the moment, but what I can say for sure is that the Texture Collection by China Glaze comprises of six new sandy-textured shades, designed to give your nails a three-dimensional effect.
