Clarins SOS Masks – SOS Hydra, SOS Pure & SOS Comfort

Clarins launches a line of three intensive SOS masks to moisturize, purify and nourish the face: SOS Hydra, SOS Pure & SOS Comfort. The masks include plant extracts which meet the needs of all skin types, at all ages. They are said to rebalance the skin in just 10 minutes and bring an instant feeling of well-being. The texture is multi-sensorial, subtle and iridescent.

SOS Hydra targets the dehydrated skin, no matter what its type is. It helps instantly moisturize the skin and restore its radiance with hyaluronic acid which helps retain moisture at the skin surface and leaves skin looking visibly plumper. It has a cream-gel texture and fresh, sorbet scent. The main ingredient is organic leaf of life extract that helps power the skin’s natural hydration process to encourage multi-level hydration.

SOS Pure is a clay mask made to clean combination to oily skin that has a shiny look, an uneven texture and enlarged pores. The mask absorbs excess sebum in order to reduce shine, refine skin texture and minimize the look of pores. The main ingredient is organic Alpine willow herb extract that helps to limit shine and the look of pores. Its scent is pure and fresh and the texture is absorbent, non-drying and powdery creamy.

SOS Comfort, a nourishing balm face mask, is ideal for dry skin which is, unlike dehydration, a permanent condition. The mask helps nourish the skin, leaving it soft, comfortable and supple. It contains mango oil and butter extracted from the kernel. Rich in fatty acids, they help protect the skin from dehydration. Its exotic scent and enveloping butter-cream texture combine the creaminess of an ultra-rich balm with the lightness of a nourishing oil to provide skin with maximum softness and comfort.

Clarins also has some tips on the right ways to use a face mask:

• Mask should be regularly applied, once or twice a week;
• Before you apply the mask, be sure to exfoliate first;
• Apply your mask in the bath when the pores are opened;
• Relax once the mask is applied.
