The moisturizing Clarins Super Restorative Night is formulated with hyaluronic acid, shea butter and Phoenix plant extract, which is a blend that promises to help restore youthful-looking suppleness to the skin, and reduce the appearance of skin discoloration and age-induced dark spots. The new nocturnal treatment is formulated to protect the fibroblast, a type of cell that synthesizes the extracellular matrix and collagen, or a structural framework of skin’s tissues. The role of the fibroblast, which becomes more and more damaged as we age, is said is to support the skin’s healthy structure and maintain its youthful look. As it becomes damaged by hormonal changes, the skin gradually loses its elasticity, which also leads to formation of age-related dark spots.
