Clé de Peau Radiant Liquid Rouge inspired by the art of Tamara de Lempicka

Clé de Peau Beauté, a luxury beauty brand owned by Shiseido Company, introduces a new range of lipsticks. The new Radiant Liquid Rouge lineup is said to be inspired by the art of Tamara de Lempicka, the famous Polish Art Deco painter and the first woman artist to be a glamour star! Lempicka, a favorite artist of many Hollywood stars is remembered as the most fashionable portrait painter of her generation. Lempicka's distinctive and bold artistic style is strongly influenced by soft cubism, and distinguished by its clean, precise, and elegant lines and colors. Lempicka derived her inspiration from the bohemian life in Paris, during the Roaring Twenties.

A piece of trivia: Madonna is an avid admirer and collector of Lempicka’s art! She has even lent a number of paintings to different events and museum exhibitions. Lempicka’s work is also featured in Madonna’s music videos for "Open Your Heart" (1987), "Express Yourself" (1989), "Vogue" (1990) and "Drowned World/Substitute for Love" (1998).
