Clinique introduces Crayola Makeup!

Clinique has partnered with Crayola, a brand of artists' supplies best known for its colorful crayons, for a special limited edition range of Chubby Sticks for lips! Clinique's famous Chubby Sticks, which take their design cues from Crayola's crayons, are now offered in a range of gorgeous pinks, reds, and purples, inspired by classic Crayola crayon colors.

However, this is not the first time that the worlds of Crayola and makeup come together. In 2015, Rachel Levin, the beauty vlogger who goes by Rclbeauty101 on YouTube, started posting tutorials on how to use Crayola crayons instead of your regular eyeliner, which initiated the whole Crayola Makeup Challenge, where people tried to complete a full face of makeup using just Crayola crayons. Needless to say, Crayola wasn't happy about it, and even publically warned against using crayons as makeup.

This time, however, Crayola enters makeup space in a more stylish way. The collection includes 10 limited edition shades of Clinique's iconic Chubby Stick Moisturizing Lip Colour Balm, featuring exclusive squiggle-design packaging inspired by the iconic Crayola crayons. The pigment-packed nourishing formula is infused with mango and shea butters so lips feel comfortably soft and smooth. The Crayla-inspired lip colors are sold as full-size singles for  $17, in a four pack of minis for $25, and an eight-pack of minis for $49.50.

In a recent interview, Warren Schorr, Crayola's vice president, had announced that Crayola will be continuing similar collaborations, including several large in the health and beauty area, and will be announcing more this year and next year.
