At Dolce & Gabbana’s Spring/Summer 2015 runway, we saw models with flowers in their hair, and crimson lips. This way, the famous haute couture and beauty brand gave us an exclusive preview of its first-ever matte lipstick, which finally became available for purchase!

The beauty look for this spring, as promoted by Dolce & Gabbana, highlights naturally radiant, healthy skin, lit with just a flush of rose blush. The eyes are subtly highlighted using only mascara and some illuminating concealer, to put the saturated velvety lips in the spotlight.

Dolce & Gabbana Dolce Matte Lipstick is described as a perfectly opaque full-bodied lipstick that coats your lips in a velvety veil of color, while keeping them nicely moisturized and soft. The Matte Lipstick is said to be created for the woman desiring perfectly defined matte red lips, and it comes in 12 different shades, to complement every mood and emotion. The palette of reds is inspired by the rich red hue that is featured in Dolce&Gabbana fashion collections.

Dolce & Gabbana Dolce Matte Lipstick promises perfectly defined matte lips in a single application. Its creamy texture is also moisturizing, and developed to keep lips hydrated and soft. To get the best possible results, use it in conjunction with The Lipliner. The liner should be applied in short strokes, to fill the whole lip, but without contouring. Use the matching color of the Matte Lipstick and apply it in short upper strokes on the top lip, and with downward strokes on the bottom lip. You could also combine two different shades to create a personalized color, by applying one shade on the outer edge of the lips, and a stronger shade of red in the center.
