Gucci Beauty presents Baume Nourrissant Universel and Brume De Beauté, the House’s newest on-the-go, genderless additions to its makeup line. Infused with caring ingredients, Baume Nourrissant Universel is a universal nourishing balm encased in a beautiful compact, while Brume De Beauté is an all-in-one prep, set, and refresh beauty mist with soothing and hydrating properties. Available from June 2022, the new products offer beauty lovers weightless and comfortable formulas that provide a healthy-looking glow and create fresh and natural looks, an all-in-one go.

Gucci Baume Nourrissant Universel – Universal Nourishing Balm

A multi-use, un-fragranced balm made from 100% natural origin, Baume Nourrissant Universel is set to become a wonder fix and go-to for all sorts of beauty needs. Whether looking to nourish the lips, or help to reduce areas of dryness, it is designed to soothe the skin in multiple ways, while a mix of botanical oils and flowers produce its weightless texture. Create peacefully, cherished moments by letting this balm encapsulated in a treasurable compact indulge the senses wherever and whenever the mood strikes.

The Formula and Application

The comfortable, silky feel of the Baume Nourrissant Universel is created with a caring formula filled with a highly concentrated blend of botanical oils, natural oils, and butter. With its nourishing properties, Shea Butter reduces the overall feeling of dryness, while Jojoba and Castor's Oils are natural ingredients that smooth skin and provide an instant sensation of moisture. Meanwhile, the star ingredient is Black Rose Oil, which is infused with antioxidant benefits that soothe the skin before or after makeup application.

The Design and Range

A treasured compact with a mirror, this vintage-inspired object of desire was designed to be carried anywhere. Encased in gold metal with an aqua blue trim and intricate gold pattern, lettering on the case lid includes the poetic line: ’There is beauty in all things written in French and English, as well as the Gucci lettering logo and a flourishing illustration of a clam shell.


The Campaign

In a natural garden setting featuring a black rose – the key ingredient in both products – the balm and mist are captured by Mark Peckmezian on a plinth, surrounded by a lush green park filled with colorful flowers. Meanwhile, in a similar nature-filled setting, a diverse cast of models are seen smiling and posing with their chosen product to showcase the power of nature, while additional campaign films by Max Siedentopf for the products appear as a wacky science experiment with each element reflective of the ingredients in the balm and mist. Here the idea of perfect harmony manifests in the form of all the ingredients working together with a series of chain reactions, while jaunty music increases in speed as each reaction occurs. Lastly, campaign films for application tips interpreted by the same models from the visuals are set to a musical backdrop that features a female voice sweetly singing about the products’ benefits.
