Gucci Beauty presents the new Rouge À Lèvres Liquide Mat. A transformative liquid lip color that dries down to a matte finish once applied, it is the first of its kind for the House. Launching in April 2022, the innovative, transfer-proof Rouge À Lèvres Liquide Mat is available in an array of rich shades inspired by sunset skies, which also form the backdrop to the new escapist campaign. Launching alongside the new lipstick is also Stylo Définition L’Obscur, a waterproof black felt-tip ink liner designed to last up to 18 hours.

For lips that hypnotize. Rouge À Lèvres Liquide Mat is a transformative cream to powder texture with a transfer-proof soft matte finish. Highly pigmented, the array of vibrant, sunset shades provide optimate coverage and striking color, without the worry of it settling into lip lines, smudging, or feathering, even on fabric. Created with comfort in mind, the color feels entirely weightless on the lips.
The formula and application.

Formulated with a caring combination of Black Rose oil and Hyaluronic Acid, and an infusion of Vitamin E, Rouge À Lèvres Liquide Mat smooths and cares for the lips. With a completely weightless texture, the highly pigmented color is initially liquid and creamy before transforming to a powdery matte texture for a lightweight feeling. A soft and slanted applicator ensures the lipstick glides easily on. Entirely transfer-proof, it is a lipstick designed with the freedom to build and blend, whether the desired look is a soft blur or a defined finish.

The design and range

Encased within a vintage long tube, frosted to showcase the shade within, Rouge À Lèvres Liquide Mat is topped with a gold lid and finished with gold lettering. For a modern take on the classic red lip, apply a light wash of a soft shade all over the lips and allow it to dry for a few seconds. Next, apply a richer shade to the center of the lips to create a soft bitten effect. Press the lips together lightly without rubbing them to blend the colors. Add a flush of color to the apples of the cheeks by applying with the pad of your middle finger to blend the color seamlessly with your skin for a soft-focus natural flush.

Gucci Stylo Définition L’Obscur – Waterproof Felt-Tip Eyeliner

When it comes to intense black eye looks, the new Stylo Définition L’Obscur is the perfect ink lining tool for creating one-stroke results and sunset-ready eyes. Designed with a precise felttip, the ultra-pigmented liner is formulated for a long-lasting, waterproof satin finish of up to 18 hours.

The formula and application

Both water-resistant and long-lasting, Stylo Définition L’Obscur glides on easily and dries quickly. The flexible felt-tip ensures precision on application, while the highly pigmented black creates an intense satin finish. Usable as a liner to complement eyeshadow looks or used alone to line the eyes in various ways, each personality can shine with this ink liner which means unlimited looks are now at the fingertips of those who use it.

For a classic flick, draw a straight line from the outer corner of your eye and follow the angle of the lower lash line. Then from the end of this line, draw another line to connect back to your eyelid to create a triangle. Fill it in, then look down and draw a smooth line along your lashes using long, slow strokes.

The Campaign

The debut campaign for Rouge À Lèvres Liquide Mat and Stylo Définition L’Obscur, shot by Mark Peckmezian, showcases the new Rouge À Lèvres Liquide Mat on the lips of two striking women against the backdrop of an idealized sunset and sea view horizon. Continuing on from the established visual language of Gucci Beauty campaigns, the new direction for the images are equal parts theatrical and escapist, those blurred sunset scenes and crashing waves also featuring as the backdrop for the new Stylo Définition L’Obscur.
