Introducing GIVENCHY Naïvement Couture 2011 Spring/Summer Collection
Published: 2011-02-27 by Ines MarkovicThe new Givenchy 2011 Spring/Summer collection is named Naïvement Couture and it's accompanied by avant-garde, artistic ideals which evoke the spring and the return of colors. The collection combines two dominant spring trends - pastel shades on the eyelids and neon hues on the lips. The emphasis is on earth tones, that range from intense orange and red brick shades to rich brown hues.
''NAÏVEMENT COUTURE ("naively couture") is an autosuggestion of happiness. Skin bared to the sunlight, we purge our sensations and embrace our innocence in order to accept our feelings. The exhilarating purity of light, a gentle warmth, tenuous and sensual, that transports us to an apogee of emotion, to be reborn with a uniquely personal authenticity. A rebirth that makes sense of the sensorial and focuses on the essential.'' says Nicolas Degennes, Makeup Artistic Director of Givenchy.
The collection includes Givenchy's well known products in new, limited-edition shades:
- Givenchy Le Prisme Yeux Quatuor in Candide Garden
- Givenchy Rouge Interdit in Candide Tangerine
- Givenchy Rouge Interdit Shine in Candide Nude
- Givenchy Gloss Interdit in Candide Tangerine
- Givenchy Vernis Please! in Candide Peach
- Givenchy Magic Khôl in Coffee
But it also brings a novelty to the Givenchy makeup range: Givenchy Blush Gelée (in Candide Pink) - a liquid blush that provides a cooling sensation on your skin, perfect for hot summer nights.
