Introducing MITZAH - A Unique Eyeshadow Palette from Dior
Published: 2011-04-20 by Ines MarkovicThe irresistible leopard print has always been intriguing becuse it brings to life the audacious and provocative side of a woman, while remaining extremely elegant at the same time. But don't look for leopard prints on clothes and shoes only, beacuse Dior created MITZAH – a unique eyeshadow palette with a leopard print!
The MITZAH palette was inspired by Christian Dior's beloved muse Mitzah Bricard. She was a hat designer who loved wearing clothes with leopard prints, but she did it in her own elegant and sophisticated way. Dior admired Mitzah very much, not only for her elegance and refined taste, but also for her mysterious personality. “Madame Bricard is one of the rare people for whom elegance is their sole reason for living,” said Christian Dior.
In 1947 Dior introduced leopard print in his collection for the first time, and from that day the leopard print has become an emblematic House of Dior reference. It corresponded perfectly to the world of Haute Couture and was reproduced numerous times in taffeta, chiffon and silk. Today, Dior decided to reinterpert it with a unique eyeshadow palette.
To complete the collection, Dior also created two special limited-edition shades of Dior Vernis, in Camel and Ebony.
1. Apply the camel shade to the lower eyelid to emphasize eye colour, then blend gently upwards. Apply also to the lower lash line.
2. Apply the ebony shade along the upper and lower lash lines to intensifiy your eyes. Blend with the camel shade.
3. Apply the nude shade to the inner corner of the eye to brighten and open your eyes.
4. Complete your look with the new shades of Dior Vernis.
