Introducing OPI Miss Universe Nail Polish Collection

Every beauty queen needs to have beautifully manicured nails. That's why OPI designed an exclusive nail polish collection for the 2011 MISS UNIVERSE^® competition, that will be held September 12, 2011, in São Paulo, Brazil.

“Miss Universe is the most popular and publicized beauty pageant in the world,” said Suzi Weiss-Fischmann, OPI Executive VP and Artistic Director. “We are excited to partner with the Miss Universe Organization, whose contestants provided so much inspiration for rich, high-fashion color.”

The Miss Universe collection includes 4 shimmering limited-edition nail polish shades that range from berry and golden pink to electric blue and glittery silver. Like all of OPI nail lacquers, this collection is also free of DBP, Toluene, or Formaldehyde, while OPI’s exclusive ProWide Brush allows for easy and precise application.

The Miss Universe collection includes:

- It’s My Year – an iridescent hot pink

- Congeniality is My Middle Name - a sparkling medium pink

- Crown Me Already – a silver glitter heavy polish

- Swimsuit…Nailed It! – a radiant blue

OPI is also the official nail care sponsor for the 2011 Miss USA^® pageant, and Suzi Weiss-Fischmann will be one of the judges for this contest.

The collection will be available from August 2011 at Professional Salons, including Beauty Brands, Beauty First, Chatters, Dillard’s, JCPenney, Pure Beauty, Regis, Trade Secret, and ULTA.
