Introducing Rouge Automatique Hydrating Long-Lasting Lipcolour from Guerlain

In 1936 Guerlain designed a very sophisticated lipstick. This wasn't just an ordinary lipstick, it was the first lipstick without a cap and with a technique which required the use of a single hand. It was a truly amazing lipstick and now it's back with a new, innovative formula and in a wide range of gorgeous shades.

“Lipstick is an accessory — you should have fun with it,” said Olivier Echaudemaison, the Creative Director of Guerlain Makeup. Inspired by the Guerlain lipstick from 1936, Olivier created Rouge Automatique, a smart lipstick in an elegant gold case which provides long-lasting, feather-proof and rich colour combined with easy and quick application. The formula is infused with sensory oils and waxes which provide an extremely fine layer of colour which melts onto your lips like a second-skin texture. The Cristal Pigment allows you to choose the intensity and shine of your colour, and at last a complex of oil and resin provides long-lasting hold, radiance and comfort.

The lipstick is available in a range of 25 gorgeous shades which are divided into 4 colour categories: Les Beiges (nudes/browns), Les Rouges (reds), Les Roses (pinks and roses), and Les Oranges (oranges/corals). Each shade is named after a Guerlain fragrance and delicately scented with fresh and floral notes associated with warmer base notes of vanilla and tonka beans, a signature of Guerlain.

Rouge Automatique is intended to be a midpoint between the brand’s sophisticated Rouge G and classic KissKiss lipsticks.
