Birchbox, the famous online monthly subscription service, is launching a new line called Parlor by Jeff Chastian. The new hair care collection is, actually, the famous celebrity hairstylist Jeff Chastain’s debut range, which is announced as an assortment of products that could help us to get as close as possible to the look that clients get in the salon.

As Jeff Chastian explains in an interview for WWD, the unique high-quality formulas are developed to help customers keep their styling steps down to a minimum: “If they have to use a curling iron, I only want them to curl a few pieces and let the product for the rest of them. If they are blow-drying their hair, hopefully they can cut it down from 15 to 10 minutes. So products that can speed up blow-drying time can also protect against heat.”

The Parlor by Jeff Chastain collection is aimed at both men and women, and it comprises four products, Reworkable Hold Paste, Detangling Leave-In Conditioner, Moisturizing Sea Salt Spray and Smoothing Blowout Spray. The interesting thing is that a customer can mix and max products for tailor-made results. You can basically create many different styling products using only four of them, and get different looks… The Parlor collection by Jeff Chastain is rolling out this February. All Brichbox’ subscribers will get their samples in February boxes, and full collection will be available for purchase at the Birchbox’ retail store in SoHo. The collection is exclusive to Birchbox.

PARLOR by Jeff Chastain Moisturizing Sea Salt Spray is designed to help you recreate the look of beach hair. The effects of salt air are encapsulated in this dark spray bottle, and all you have to do is to release the formula and enjoy instant volume and a tousled texture. The formula blends softening sweet almond extract and nourishing algae extracts, while its fine mist smells of ripe peach, fresh-cut grass, and white woods. PARLOR by Jeff Chastain Smoothing Blowout Spray promises to give you a beautiful blowout result every time. It boosts volume and protects hair from heat damage. To use, spray four to six times onto damp hair before blow-drying. For light- to medium-density hair, apply to the mid-shaft to ends; for thick hair, spray throughout.
