Lancome Happy Holidays Collection

Here's a quick preview of small and lovely makeup collection designed by Lancome for the upcoming season. The winter collection launches on November 1st, and it brings a small selection of wonderful gold-infused products.

The central item of the collection is Lancome Ombre Hypnose Mono in Fil d'Argent, which is a gorgeous compact eye shadow that brings intense color and crease-resistant finish. The shade for this season is this color of old gold, whose name literally translates as “Silver Wire.” The surface of the shadow is beautifully embossed with a pattern that slightly resembles a golden chain. Everything comes packed in a lovely black case with a mirror and dual ended applicator. As for the formula – you can use it wet or dry to achieve various levels of intensity. This lovely eyeshadow retails at £18.

Lancome Ombre Les Paillettes aux Yeux is another charming product that can be used on eyelids, under the eyebrow, and even on top of the cheeks. This is actually a very loose shimmering powder that instantly illuminates the skin, adds some fresh healthy glow, and irresistible mysterious shimmer. I really love frosty makeup finishes for winter, so I dig this one as my favorite item from this collection. Lancome Ombre Les Paillettes aux Yeux retails at £17.50.

Lancome Nail Polish in Golden Bubbles brings another note of gold, this time in the form of a translucent gilded texture infused with micronized sparkling pigments. The nail polish is priced at £12.

Lancome L'Absolu Rouge in Rubis Exquis brings fiery bright shade of red and sultry metallic shimmer to the lips. This one should go very nicely with subtle golden hints of other three products. It retails at £19.50.
