MAC announces lipstick collaboration with Caitlyn Jenner
Published: 2016-02-27 by Marina MilojevićMAC Cosmetics collaborates with Caitlyn Jenner on a brand new lipstick named Finally Free! The 66-year-old celebrity is a star behind the new promotional campaign that debuted on Friday. As MAC revealed, 100% of the selling price from Caitlyn Jenner’s lipstick goes to the MAC AIDS Fund Transgender Initiative, to further its work in support of transgender communities. This exclusive partnership begins with the April 7 launch, exclusively on maccosmetics.com, of a limited-edition Lipstick created by Caitlyn.
Caitlyn Jenner announced the collaboration via Instagram, by posting a promotional photo on which she wears a dazzling gold gown, while showing off a fuller bust:
It looks like Caitlyn Jenner is following in steps of her 18-year-old daughter, Kylie Jenner, who recently released her own lip kit collection — which sold out in a matter of minutes, twice!
In a statement to MAC, Jenner revealed: “I’ve learned that I am the exception to the rule; I certainly am not the rule…So, it’s been eye-opening. I realize that I’m in a position where I can help people who are really struggling by creating a platform and bringing exposure to the issue.”
Speaking about the name she has chosen for her signature lip color, Jenner said: “I wanted a name that I use, and which represents the community. This is who I am: Finally Free.”
