MAC Debuts The Simpsons Collection

The Comic-Con International, one of the world’s largest expositions dedicated to comics and related popular artforms, has opened its gates on July 24. To mark the occasion, Mac Cosmetics unveiled its new Marge Simpson-themed makeup collection at the special event on Saturday, July 26, at the MAC Cosmetics store in the Gaslamp District (234 Fifth Avenue, San Diego).

MAC’s new 10-piece collection inspired by Marge Simsons will hit the shelves across the USA on September 4th, and will be available online starting from August 28th, 2014. This is a rather small range, and yet interesting enough to be excited about. Let’s take a look…

MAC The Simpsons Powder Blush arrives in two limited edition shades. The peachy-coral shade is an online exclusive, and it will be available for purchase starting from August 25th. Both shades are designed to create a fine satin finish on your cheeks, and they are nestled in a cute round-shaped compacts with Marge Simpsons-inspired graphics. The blushes are EUR 23,50

For this collection, MAC has released a new pair of feathery lashes inspired by Marge Simpson’s look. According to MAC senior makeup artist John Stapleton, Marge Simpson’s makeup look is all about the lashes. His advice for the Simpsons-inspired makeover is to simply add a pair of lashes to your usual routine. MAC the Simpsons Lash in 7 lash natural length, for everyday glamorous look, retails at EUR 13,50.
