MAC introduces the Liptensity lipstick range

MAC Cosmetics is launching the Liptensity lipstick, its most pigmented lipstick so far! The Liptensity range, which debuts with 24 different shades, is formulated with high-intensity chromatic pigment that gives a more intense color payoff than any of MAC’s existing lipsticks. This super-saturated lipstick features the exclusive color true formula that allows each of the shades to look almost identical on all wearers – from the fairest to the darkest skin tones. The formula is amazingly long-wearing, which means that you can apply it in the morning and it will still remain intact eight hours later. The palette includes everything from bare nudes and tawny neutrals, to rich berries, sophisticated reds, and saturated browns.

The Liptensity formula is composed of pre-saturated pigment and a clear base. This is what allows it to stay true, without over-reacting to the wearer’s unique chemistry. The unique formula, which was two years in development, is unlike anything ever offered by MAC before. It offers fresh new takes on the existing MAC shades, which have been altered in fresher directions, and purified from muddy, superfluous undertones. The range also includes a bold, black shade named Stallion, which was the most challenging shade to realize.

MAC’s new Liptensity lipstick features a completely new packaging. Instead of the classic bullet-shape, the packaging is now taller, more slender, and topped with a cap that reveals the color of the formula. The Liptensity lipstick will be available to MAC Select loyalty program customers from September 14, at select MAC doors. The lipstick goes on sale at maccosmetics.com and Nordstrom from September 21st. The Liptensity range will roll out to all MAC locations and retailers on October 3, 2016. There are 24 shades to choose from, and each of them retails at $21 per tube.
