December sees the launch of MAC’s post-holiday collection, which is aptly named Lightness of Being. After all that glamorous shades and glitters, festive packaging and gift-ready sets, MAC returns to more basic shades in textures.

MAC Lightness of Being Collection focuses on soft, universally flattering shades, which are suitable for everyday makeup and for effortless girl-next-door looks. The range brings calm, cozy nuances for lips, eyes and cheeks, with knit-like embossing on the surface of the powders. Everything about this collection reminds of the atmosphere for a calm, restful vacation.

The only drawback regarding this collection is that no new shades of Mineralize Skin Finish will be released. Still, the lovely adornment on their surface makes them quite charming and worth your attention. The collection is launching online on December 26, 2014, before it hits the shelves across the world on January 17th, 2015.
