MAC Studio Tech Foundation shade extension

MAC Cosmetics has just revealed the Studio Tech Collection, featuring a full color spectrum of shades suitable for all skin tones. The collection revolves around MAC’s backstage tested full-coverage compact foundation, which now welcomes a shade extension! Five new hues have been added to the MAC Studio Tech range, to allow virtually anyone to get a flawless complexion.

For many women of color, finding a matching foundation shade is often a real struggle. Many women with darker skin tone, whatever their race or ethnicity is, will agree that most beauty brands typically ignore or overlook the various undertones and shades dark skin comes in. Recently, a photo of Marc Jacobs Remarcable foundations, posted by YouTube beauty blogger MannyMua, left Instagram community feeling upset and confused. As many noticed, out of 22 shades, only 3 were suitable for women who are dark skinned…

MAC is known for its impressive color range, and, once again, the brand doesn't disappoint in the foundation segment. The Studio Tech shade extension takes into account the needs of consumers with dark skin. The formula remains the same, and it still promises to give you high-definition, studio-quality results. The foundation, which feels as a soft, creamy emulsion, is a tri-system blend of water, emollients and powder. It goes on smooth to give a long-lasting, yet lightweight, full coverage. People with dry skin will benefit from this fresh, moisturizing formula, but it also works and for anyone who wishes to achieve a natural matte, powder-perfect finish.

The best way to apply it is by using a special new MAC 170 Synthetic Round Slat Brush, which retails for $35.00. For perfectly even results, finish your look with a beauty blender.
