Marc Jacobs Makeup Collection for Fall 2015
Published: 2015-06-15 by Marina MilojevićThe famous haute couture designer, Marc Jacobs, is getting ready to introduce his new beauty offerings. The designer, who first headed into the beauty sector about two years ago, will unveil his beauty innovations in August 2015.
As you will see, the upcoming makeup range is quite basis, and it is all about flawless complexion and beautifully pronounced eyes. Same as his fashion range, the makeup collection, which debuted at the Marc by Marc Jacobs Fall 2015 show, is inspired by the look of the Guardian Angels of the mid ‘80s, early ‘90s. This non-profit volunteer organization of unarmed citizen crime patrollers was first established to fight against widespread violence and crime on the New York City Subway system. The look of models in black studded berets, that stormed the Marc Jacobs runway, replicates the rebellious style of the Guardian angels, with the eyes being the centerpiece of the makeup.
The central piece of the upcoming collection is a cutting-edge foundation named Re(marc)able Full Cover Foundation Concentrate, which comes in no less than 22 shades, each priced at $55. What makes this product quite unique is its texture based on jojoba, sunflower, acacia, and mimosa extracts. The formula is completely oil-free, and announced as seven times lighter than any traditional foundation. The foundation is extremely buildable and packed with patented golden mica, which promises to deliver high-impact radiance to all skin tones.

In addition, Marc Jacobs will launch the Under(cover) Perfecting Coconut Face Primer, and a special buffing foundation brush. The primer, which will retail at $44, evens out skin texture, boosts coverage and helps foundation wear better and last longer. The product is based on five different forms of young coconut, which helps to create a natural barrier between your skin and makeup, thus duplicating the effect of synthetic priming ingredients, while allowing the skin to breathe. The primer will be available in a single invisible shade.
As announced by Marc Jacobs Beauty, the range will also include a new, seasonal shade of Marc Jacobs Eyeliner in a deep chocolate shade named cocoa-lacquer. The eyeliner comes in a waterproof formula, and it retails at $30.
The collection is hitting the shelves in August 2015, at Sephora and Marc Jacobs.
