ModelCo x Karl Lagerfeld Makeup Collection

Karl Lagerfeld and ModelCo have just announced a beauty collaboration! The famous German fashion designer, artist, and photographer, and Australian beauty brand have joined their forces to create a special, limited edition color cosmetics collection of new and collectible products!

Lagerfeld, who is the head designer and creative director of the fashion house Chanel as well as the Italian house Fendi, has revealed the name of the collection, which has been dubbed "Illuminated Beauty". This exclusive new line will combine Lagerfeld’s signature DNA with innovative, cutting-edge beauty products for women of all ages. As Shelley Sullivan, founder and CEO of ModelCo, announced, this is going to be a highly coveted and collectible collection of high-quality formulas in innovative, technical packaging. The products are certainly going to be imbued with Lagerfeld’s recognizable artistic aesthetic, which is described as sophisticated, modern and cool.

Just to remind you, this is not the first time that Karl Lagerfeld ventures into beauty. The imaginative designer had already collaborated with Shu Uemura on capsule holiday collections, as well as with Sephora for Christmas 2011. The new partnership follows a number of other celebrity collaborations previously led by ModelCo, including those with as Elle Macpherson, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, and Hailey Baldwin.

The Karl Lagerfeld + ModelCo collection, will be available worldwide in Karl Lagerfeld stores and ModelCo’s premium distribution network, and their respective web sites. The collection is scheduled for release in early 2018.
