NARS American Dream Eyeshadow Palette

NARS has just launched the new eyeshadow palette named American Dream. The palette includes six lovely shades in warm earthy tones, saturated with very fine golden and silvery powders.

I'm not quite sure about the inspiration behind this product, but the warmish melting shades of American Dream somehow remind me of the prosperity and success achieved through hard work during the roaring years of the gold rush in the United States. Deep earthy browns, golden glitters and silvery shades of gray – the wealth of the Earth captured in the intensively colored powder to add depth and dimension to the eye with dazzling, bold tones.

NARS American Dream Eyeshadow Palette combines six already existing shades, of some came from duos while the others wile available as singles:

Bellisima - pale ivory shade with micronized glitter
Alhambra - champagne color with a warm peachy undertone
Silk Road - soft pink with golden glitter
Galapagos - chocolate brown with visible golden flecks
Bali - a matte brown
Tzarine - grey with gold and silver glitter

NARS American Dream Eyeshadow Palette just became available at Nordstrom, Saks and Barneys on-line, as well as at many NARS counters nationwide. The product retails at $55.00, which is an excellent price for 6 different eyeshadows by NARS. I'd definitely recommend this product, since all of these shades appear to be very versatile and they most definitely fit nicely into many different looks, for both night and day.
