NARS x Charlotte Gainsbourg Makeup Collection

As announced earlier this year, NARS Cosmetics and Charlotte Gainsbourg are teaming up for a 15-piece collection. The famous Brit-French actress and singer has been signed as the face of NARS’s upcoming makeup collection, which is coming to NARS counters April 15th.

Same as with all celebrity collaborations, the new collection aims at capturing Charlotte Gainsbourg’s distinctive spirit, which has been described by Francois Nars as “a captivating mix of presence and humility.” Charlotte was, of course, part of the entire process, assisting in the design and development of each product.

Gainsbourg rarely wears makeup other than a smudge of black liner and a bit of flush that enhances rather than manipulates her facial features. The collection, therefore, focuses on eyes, with an array of eyeshadow duos and a trio of eye kohls. In addition, there will be some sheer liquid lipsticks, matte lip pencils, and a set of brushes.

NARS Multiple arrives in three special shades, named after the most important women in Charlotte Gainsbourg’s life: Janette – a pet name Serge Gainsbourgh had for Charlotte’s mother, while Alice and Jo are named after Charlotte’s daughters.

NARS x Charlotte Gainsbourg Multiple Tint is designed to add a little bit of sheer, dewy tint to the cheeks.-  $39

NARS x Charlotte Gainsbourg Hydrating Glow Tint, is a tinted moisturizer in a cream-like formula that evens out the skin tone with the slightest hint of color. Feather-light and extremely sheer, the Hydrating Glow Tint moisturizes the skin and enhances its healthy inner glow. Available in four colorways, priced at $36.
