USE: For regular application under arms to reduce odor caused by bacteria in sweat. Nivea suggests the product lasts up to 48 hours.

Caution: Not to be used on irritated or damaged skin.

AROMA & TEXTURE: The white liquid roll-on dries quickly without leaving noticeable residue. The aroma is labeled as "Jasmine" but doesn't really smell like natural jasmine. The fragrance, however, is quite pleasant and is probably my favorite thing about this product.

NUMBER OF TIMES TESTED: 15+ times from a bottle I purchased.

INGREDIENTS: Aqua, propylene glycol, ppg-15, sodium palmitate, stearyl ether, steareth-2, steareth-21, parfum, butyl-octanoic acid, ethylhexylglycerin, octenidine hcl, persea gratissima oil, trisodium edta, linalool, citronellol, geraniol, alpha-isomethyl ionone, butylphenyl methopropional, limonene.

ABOUT THE PACKAGING: The roll-on deodorant comes in a 50ml glass bottle; a spray deodorant is also available.

WHERE CAN I BUY IT? ~$3 USD at numerous stores and online.

TRY THIS IF...you want an aluminum-, paraben-, and mineral oil-free deodorant and don't mind a strongly-scented, liquid roll-on.

DON'T TRY THIS IF...you are looking for organic or all-natural products. Aside from the inclusion of avocado oil, there really isn't anything natural here. Likewise, if you don't like strongly-scented deodorant products, this isn't an ideal choice. Note: This is not an anti-perspirant so those looking to deal with heavy sweating should look elsewhere.

THE BOTTOM LINE: In my search for an affordable, aluminum-free deodorant, I found Nivea's Pure & Natural. I wasn't sure how well it would work but was surprised that as long as I thoroughly cover all of the target area, it is a success. If I miss any patches of skin then the product doesn't help much. Though I really didn't notice the aroma at first application, I did notice it each time I raised my arm and I actually really like it...enough to now be seeking out a fragrance that smells like it!
