OPI Peanuts Nail Lacquer Collection
Published: 2014-10-24 by Marina MilojevićOPI celebrates the Halloween 2014, with a very special nail polish collection dedicated to American comic strip written and illustrated by Charles M. Schulz – Peanuts.
The four-piece OPI Peanuts Collection is inspired by the 1966 American prime time animated television special “It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown,” which was based on the Peanuts comic strip. This was a Halloween special, about the Peanuts gang and its preparations for the All Hallows' Eve, featuring the mysterious Great Pumpkin, a holiday figure whose existence only Linus van Pelt believes. Every year, Linus sits in a pumpkin patch on Halloween night waiting for the Great Pumpkin to arise… but it never shows up….
The four new shades are limited seasonal editions - yellow and black crèmes, as well as two black-based glitter hues. Each of the shades celebrates the cheerful nature of one of the Peanuts’ characters: Charlie Brown, Lucy, Linus and Snoopy. You can boast any of the shades on its own, or combine them together to create stunning festive nail art. The glitter shades double as sparkling top coats, if you apply them in a single layer, on top of your favorite opaque.- Good Grief! - The sunny yellow of Charlie Brown’s favorite t-shirt.
- Where’s My Blanket??? - Linus awaits the Great Pumpkin in this orange and black glitter.
- WHO ARE YOU CALLING BOSSY?!? - This stormy black is no match for Lucy’s raven hair.
- To Be or Not To Beagle - Snoopy’s happy-dance of colors in a joyful glitter.
