Philosophy introduces grooming range for men

Philosophy, the famous skincare brand that unites personal care with skin care, introduces a new product trio, specifically designed for men. May 2016 sees the launch of three new products: a cleansing shave cream, a mattifying moisturizer, and a face and body scrub. The highly specialized collection is comprised of very efficient formulas designed to meet men’s particular needs when it comes to taking care of their face and body. The trio takes care of all essential grooming needs – shaving, face, and body – and provides an effective solution for a basic skin care routine.

The facial products, a shaving cream and a moisturizer, guarantee much easier shaving, less irritated and inflamed skin, and less ingrown hairs. The moisturizer also softens the skin, and gives it a nice, semi-matte finish. In combination with a body scrub, it guarantees fewer breakouts and dry spots.

Philosophy’s new grooming range is available for purchase at philosophy.com, and ulta.com. The practical packaging is black colored, which gives it a distinctive luxurious appeal.

A piece of trivia: the clever choice of packaging design elements may be influenced by a recent study on the purchasing decisions of Scandinavian men, conducted by one of Sweden’s leading graphic design schools – Brobygrafiska – and ESEPAC. According to the results of the study, no less than 30% of men who use luxury cosmetics are more likely to opt for darker colors, and especially black!
