REVIEW: Sephora Collection Colorful Pro Eyeshadow Palette - Brown Eyes

Eyeshadow is one of the most important parts of makeup. I'm always having problems with choosing which shade or eyeshadow palette to buy, and then when I finally decide, I can't help but wonder is the colour going to look good on my eyes. My eyes are dark brown and I did notice that some of the colours don't match the colour of my eyes. And when I saw that Sephora has an eyeshadow palette with shades designed especially for brown eyes, I just had to buy it and try it.

SEPHORA COLLECTION Colorful Pro Eyeshadow Palette - Brown Eyes comes in a black round box with 6 shades (Warm Brown, Soft Grey Fawn Shimmer, Soft Peach, Cream Pearl, Shimmering Lilac and Glittering Dark Plum) and a two-sided applicator. Shades can be applied individually but they also make 2 harmonies. On the back of the compact you can find instructions on how to apply the 2 harmonies. I find that very handy, especially for someone who doesn't have much experience with makeup application.

The shades are enriched with shimmering particles. I love makeup that glitters so I was very happy te see that. They are a bit difficult to apply with the applicator, so i recommend using your fingers. I have tried on both harmonies. The first one (with shades in Warm Brown, Soft Grey Fawn Shimmer and Soft Peach) looks gorgeous on my eye lids and really highlights the colour of my eyes. But I'm not satisfied with the second harmony (shades in Cream Pearl, Shimmering Lilac and Glittering Dark Plum) because you can hardly see it on the eyes, you see only a few shimmering particles.

I would also like to point out the second shade, Soft Grey Fawn Shimmer. This shade is my number one shade in the palette. I apply it together with mascara for a day look or when I'm in a hurry and it looks great.
