Shu Uemura Karl Lagerfeld for Shu Uemura

Great news for all fans of Karl Lagerfeld: the famous fashion guru and the prestige beauty brand Shu Uemura are collaborating on a new makeup range!

According to some sources, the new Karl Lagerfeld for Shu Uemura collection arrives on the market in November, designed as a special holiday lineup. There will be 17 stockkeeping units in total, and Lagerfeld will decide on their colors and packaging.

If you followed the work of the German fashion designer you may even be acquainted with the fact that Lagerfeld has long been using Shu Uemura makeup products to color his sketches and illustrations. When asked why he is using Shu Uemura makeup instead of pencils and crayons, Lagerfeld simply replied: “because other manufacturers do not offer such beautiful colors.”



Last year’s Karl Lagerfeld for Sephora limited edition, designed to celebrate Karl Lagerfeld's title of Designer of the Year, was a huge success. Let’s hope the new collection is going to be as great, if not more so, than last year’s.
