Smith & Cult Nail Lacquers
Published: 2014-09-01 by Marina MilojevićDineh Mohajer, one of the founders of the American cosmetics company Hard Candy, is launching a new line of nail polishes called Smith & Cult.
Smith & Cult nail polish collection comprises of 30 versatile shades, including a top and base coat. The range is very luxurious and it arrives in beautifully designed circular glass bottles with a silver dented cap. As Dineh Mohajer explains, the shades are inspired by genuine experiences depicted by a woman in her diary entries, and their names are quite unique and representative of these adventures. There is even an illustrated journal named “Diary of a Beauty Junkie” that goes along with the collection. The journal tells stories about six of the shades that are inspired by diary entries of a beauty addict. While the shades will be available for purchase mainly in-salons, the diaries are not for sale, and they will be available for consumers to read while receiving a manicure.
Smith & Cult will launch new shades quarterly, and the brand is planning to launch a range of lip glosses in the summer of 2014. The full collection already launched in about 20 salons, and it will be available for purchase in around 250 salons in October. The shades are priced at $18 each. Nine of them are already available for purchase exclusively at net-a-porter.com
