Tarte Rainforest of the Sea Collection

Tarte Cosmetics has just announced the launch of its Rainforest of the Sea collection, for Spring/Summer 2016. This beautiful limited edition range is built around Tarte’s proprietary complex named Rainforest of the Sea. This hydrating and nourishing ingredient was first introduced in August 2015, with the Rainforest of the Sea Water Foundation. The product debuted as a QVC exclusive, and it was available in a special limited edition together with a customized double-ended brush. In February 2016, Tarte presents the full-blow Rainforest of the Sea collection, which includes three gorgeous palettes, the famous water foundation, a water-based serum concealer, a selection of nourishing lip colors, five custom-tailored brushes, and a small assortment of skin care products.

The main ingredient is the Rainforest of the Sea™ Complex, which is an in-house blend of algae and marine flower extracts. The mixture promises to help reduce the appearance of lines and wrinkles, while smoothing and softening the skin. Other ingredients include a hydrating blend of water and sea salt extracts, skin-plumping Sodium Hyaluronate and Squalene, finely curated natural butters and oils, as well as skin friendly botanical extracts.
