TRESemmé Celebrity Stylist John D on how to get Lea Michele's Golden Globes Hairstyle

TRESemmé Celebrity Stylist John D. has shared a couple of his expert tips on how to create Lea Michele's Golden Globes classic braided look. Although she missed the actual awards, Lea Michele turned up at Golden Globes after party in a sexy white Michael Kors dress, with cut out semi-sheer nude-paneled sides, paired with a sleek and pretty braided hairstyle.

TRESemmé hair stylist John D, who created this amazing hairstyle that beautifully complements Michele’s sleek hourglass silhouette, showed us hot to get her red carpet signature look.  As he told us, the cute and stylish center-part braid can be created in just a couple of simple steps, using an assortment of only two TRESemmé products.

1. Prep towel dried hair from roots to ends with TRESemmé Climate Control Mousse. This will provide grip and texture for the braid.
2. Blow dry hair in sections, using a large round brush.
3. Once dry, create a center part and brush all hair toward the nape of the neck. Secure it into a low ponytail.
4. Divide ponytail into three even sections and braid into a traditional three-plait braid, securing the end with a small elastic.
5. Apply a small amount of TRESemmé Climate Control Mousse to fingertips and smooth any flyaways. Direct your hair down from the part and behind the ears.
6. Spray TRESemmé Keratin Smooth Frizz-Free Hold Hairspray to set the style and boost hold and shine.
