Vichy ProEven Mineral BB Cream

There's a brand new BB cream hitting the shelves for fall 2012. This time, the creator of the product is a premium skincare brand Vichy.

I have to admit that this cosmetics company owned by L'Oréal makes some of the my favorite skincare products. In case you didn't know, the only water used in formulas of Vichy products is thermal spa water from the hot springs of the town of Vichy in France.

Vichy's western interpretation of the famous BB formula, which was until recently sold mainly in East and Southeast Asia, is a lightweight mineral foundation available in two basic shades. Same as the Garnier's Miracle Skin Perfector, Vichy ProEven Mineral BB Cream comes in Light and Medium but bears a promise of no less than 12 hours of wear with 24 hours of foundation. As any other BB cream, the new Vichy ProEven Mineral BB Cream is formulated to target multiple skin concerns – it claims to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, dark spots, and pores. In addition, Vichy's BB cream improves the overall skin condition in no more than four weeks by boosting radiance, evening out the skin tone and refining skin's texture. The formula blends the high purity mineral pigments and natural antioxidants sourced from Vitamin C and E. To guard the skin from environmental aggressors, this BB cream also offers broad spectrum SPF 20 protection.

Vichy ProEven Mineral BB Cream, skin perfecting beauty balm retails at $32.50 for 40ml/1.35 oz tube. The product is already available at Ulta and Ulta.com.
