YSL Beauty has just released an exclusive new Couture Palette, which is, this time, inspired by the Black Opium Pure Illusion fragrance, the latest iteration in the Black Opium series launched in 2014. The special new version of the Black Opium fragrance retains its recognizable oriental vanilla composition, but gets a new collector flacon adorned with neon pink lines and glittery black detailing.

According to YSL, the colorful contrast and visual interplay of translucent and opaque finishes emphasizes the bittersweet nature of the composition. The fragrance combines sweet black coffee with a bit of musk, white flowers, and orange blossoms. The base notes are soft vanilla, pear and almonds.
