The 2012 Summer Olympic Games will take place in London, from 27 July to 12 August 2012. To mark the occasion, butter LONDON (which is USA-based beauty brand founded in 2005 by British entrepreneur, Sasha Muir) launches a very special limited edition trio: Commemorative Olympic Heavy Medal Collection.

The collection is actually a set of three metallic nail lacquers, inspired by the colors of the Olympic medals. The set will be available in June 2012, and it will retail at $36. Butter London is the first brand to sell non-toxic nail polish in the United States. All of their formulas are free of Formaldehyde, Toluene, DBP or Parabens.

Here are the shades:

  • The Full Monty – a full-on molten gold shade,
  • Diamond Geezer – a smooth silvery and shiny platinum shade,
  • The Old Bill – a burnished bronze with antique patina.
