Butter London is launching an interesting new collection designed for Spring 2013. The collection features three nude shades, and it is aptly named Starkers (not wearing clothing!).
After all those rich winter-themed shades, infused with sparkle and glitter, the spring brings us a major change in makeup trends. Most of the beauty brands are focused on bright and soft pastels, except Butter London – a brand that brings unique nude-colored nail lacquers. Butter London Starkers Collection includes three shades, each matching one of the major skin tones. Pictured from left to right, the shades are: Tea & Toast, Crumpet, and Shandy.
Nude nail polishes are not exactly my cup of tea, but it seems that Butter London beauty experts certainly know what they’re doing. The nude nail polish is envisioned as an extension of the fingers, a shade that perfectly matches the skin tome. Nude-colored nails will make your fingers look longer, and they will also perfectly match the trendy nude shoes, which have become the major sell-out since the Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton, set the trend! Each of the shades from the Butter London Starkers Collection can be worn on its own or even layered above french manicure. The collection is slated for release in March 2013.
