Caron Glamorous Powders And Vintage Allure - Cannes TFWA 2016 Novelties

1906 is the year when the iconic french house of Caron introduced their first powders. From the world of Haute Parfumerie to the delicate gesture of powder, this house never fails to impress. This year in the Cannes TFWA 2016 exhibition, Caron placed its bets on a new collection of powders.

The Caron Powder comes in a palette of 11 shades with enchanting names such as Rose Bonne Mine, Radieuse, Lumière d'Ambre and more. This range of powders is part of the brand's heritage and you can see the powders featuring in a lot of vintage Caron advertisings.

The Caron face powders come in two types: “Classiques” and “Transparentes”. The Classiques have zinc, magnesium and kaolin incorporated, which means that they offer a good coverage and they have an antibacterial effect. They are anti-comedogenic too. They offer a radiant and glowing quality to the skin while reducing shine and absorbing sebum. As for the “Transparentes”, they focus more oh hydration, softening and luminosity, besides the effects already mentioned in the “Classiques” line. You can chose between Loose Powder Classique or Transparente or Semi-Loose Powder Classique or Transparente depending on your favorite gesture and application.

The Caron Powder is lightly scented and this makes the application an extended pleasure, even though fragrance is not something I would reccomend for a sensitive skin. Even the darkest colors are not difficult to apply and they can enhance your glow or give a tan to your face, depending on the use you give it. The box is beautiful and typically Caron in a vintage glam style.

Caron also presented a Blusher. Available in 4 shades, it brightens the complexion and adds structure to the face with a natural and transparent result. Suitable for all skin types.
