Cellcosmet CellLift Cream Review

I put my skin through a lot. Be it an ever-evolving cocktail of exfoliating acids, the resurfacing beam of a fractional laser or more recently the scourge of an ill-researched exfoliating cream I found on some forsaken corner of the internet one night at 3 o’clock in the morning, my face goes through it. The obvious solution to this issue would be to calm down and take a step back from trying every single product I can possibly get my hands on, but we all know that’s not going to happen. That’s why I have contingency plans, or in this case contingency products; the special lotions and potions I choose when my skin has had it, officially. 

Usually these so-called contingency products veer toward the rather basic end of the spectrum, simple and delicate formulas to soothe irritated skin and not cause any further disruption. Once and a while, though, I come across something that not only seems to remedy the mess that I’ve made but also provides powerful skin nourishing benefits that I can truly see making a difference in how my skin behaves. In this case the potion of choice happens to be the Cellective CellLift cream from Cellcosmet, a brand from Switzerland renowned for their exquisite textures and beautifully appointed formulas.

The initial texture of CellLift is deceptively thick, to the point where if you were to turn the jar upside down it would not move, but upon contact with the warmth of your skin it becomes much thinner. The texture upon the skin is not unlike that of an elegant facial oil, though richer; maintaining a degree of the bounce and volume one associates with a luxurious and nourishing skin cream. Initially I reserved this only for instances where my skin was in need of some proper TLC, more often than not after a chemical peel or treatment with a laser and the results were always astounding. The rich, emollient texture in harmony with a combination of powerhouse ingredients including hyaluronic acid, various peptides and vitamin C always seemed to facilitate the healing of my skin at an accelerated rate, leaving me feeling back to normal days faster than if I’d used my regular moisturizer.

After some time had passed using the CellLift on an as-needed basis I decided that I would give it a proper go and use it as my regular nighttime moisturizer to see if these wonderful results I was getting were cumulative or if a product like this was best kept as rejuvenative skin rescue when I’d inventively overdone once again with something else. Here we are, 4 weeks later and I think it’s safe to say that my skin has grown incredibly fond of this product. As someone with with a particularly dry complexion I was thrilled to find that my skin has been retaining moisture far more efficiently than before and the dry patches that so frequently made an appearance have subsided a great deal as well. While I am a bit too young to speak upon the anti-aging capabilities of this product, I will say that my skin has felt much more plump and has maintained a beautiful glow during my time using it. I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone with particularly oily skin, or even a normal skin type for that matter, but for someone who’s skin has a penchant for being parched and subject to irritation like mine it’s an absolute revelation and will remain a firm staple within my skincare wardrobe.
