Clinique Superdefense Night Recovery Moisturizer

January sees the launch of a new product from Clinique! This time, the famous cosmetic brand is adding to its Superdefense range, which is developed to offer the most complete protection from irritants, UVA/UVB, stress, pollution, and dehydration. The range, which already comprises a Daily Defense Moisturizer, and an Age Defense Eye Cream (both with broad spectrum SPF 20), now welcomes the Night Recovery Moisturizer, which is an overnight recovery cream.

As announced by Clinique, the Superdefense Night Recovery Moisturizer works as we sleep, to boost skin’s own restorative processes. While the skin is at rest, antioxidant actives from this nightly moisturizer will fight off damage caused by daily environmental aggressors, and reduce the early signs of aging. The cream also stimulates production of collagen and elastin, to gradually reveal hydrated, rejuvenated skin.

Clinique Superdefense Night Recovery Moisturizer is based on ergothioneine, which is a naturally occurring amino acid. When applied directly to the skin ergothioneine helps prevent wrinkles, reduce signs of aging skin, and reduce sun-induced damage. The list of ingredients also includes antioxidant vitamins C and E, rosemary leaf extract, Chlorella vulgaris green algae, and whey protein.

Clinique Superdefense Night Recovery Moisturizer will hit the shelves at Clinique counters across the UK and at clinique.co.uk, in January 2014. A 50 ml jar is priced at £42.
