Clinique The Nutcracker Collection

Clinique is launching a capsule collection inspired by the famous Russian ballet originally choreographed by Marius Petipa and Lev Ivanov with a score by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky.

Clinique’s The Nutcracker collection is designed to capture the beauty of the two-act ballet, which is habitually performed during the Christmas season. For this year’s Christmas festivities, Clinique launches a dedicated makeup set inspired by the characters, costumes and scenery of the ballet, and especially by Tchaikovsky’s Waltz Of The Snowflakes, a final scene in Act I, in which snowflakes fall into a pine forest, from the nocturnal sky, and they are met by the King and Queen, who join main protagonists - Clara and the Prince, who are guided through the forest by gnomes with torches, in a swirling waltz…

Clinique The Nutcracker Collection will be available at Clinique Travel Retail locations worldwide from November 2014.
