I received this product as part of a Birchbox shipment earlier this summer and was immediately drawn to its aroma. I'm a sucker for anything fresh, spa-like or aquatic. And if a summer face product is going to have any aroma, might as well be cucumber!

Coola SPF 30 Cucumber moisturizer is a lightweight, non-greasy, thin white liquid cream that goes on smoothly and feels great on my skin. The brand recommends reapplying every two hours when spending time in the sun for maximum protection. I'm prone to breakouts from thick sunscreens and I have sensitive skin; I had no issues with this product after repeated use (4 days in a row, re-applying twice a day).

The aroma is noticeable at first application but after a few minutes I could no longer smell it.

Best of all, the product washed off easily without leaving that thick residue that I've experienced with other products.

The price is a little higher considering the small size and the need to re-apply, but I enjoyed it so much that I'm thinking of splurging!
