Dior Metallics Collection for Fall 2017

Backstage at Christian Dior's Fall 2017 couture show, Dior’s lead makeup artist Peter Philips revealed what he thinks is the trendiest look of the season. For him, it is all about savage natural beauty, semi matte, glowing skin, and highly reflective makeup that creates a subtle sheen, without any extravagant glitter finish.

 

Today's look @dior was all about semi Matte/ glowy skin and intense eyebrows, a sauvage natural beauty. Here are some backstage shots from my demo and the result. I used Dior forever foundation, a touch of Diorblush colour &light stick 002 for cheeks and highlight, a hint of Dior metalizer 528 on the eyelids. Today, we’re giving you the first look at Dior’s forthcoming Metallics Collection for Fall 2017, designed for strong, yet fragile women, for modern girls who are timelessly chic, for beauties on the go who dare to wear bold color and know how to forge a spontaneous, highly personal look!

Inspired by the clashing contrasts between metallic and mattes, as well as professional makeup techniques, Philips has designed an intuitive, on-the go product, which seems to be the central piece of the collection: Dior Metalizer Eyes & Lips.

Housed in a convenient squeezable tube, Dior Metalizer is a versatile product that can be used either as an eyeshadow or a lip gloss. The ultra-creamy metal shadow combines metal-effect pigments with a lightweight, quick-drying formula, delivering a light veil of color with a chrome-finish effect. The product can be used on its own, or applied over a matte colored lipstick for a quick change in texture.

Dior Diorshow 5 Couleurs eyeshadow palettes are offered in two seasonal color harmonies, each with five eyeshadows in either matte, satin, or metallic finish.

Choose from one of the palettes, depending on your style and mood.

• Hypnotize – earthy, warm, gold and chocolate tones
• Magnetize  - silver-grey platinum shades paired with a sparkling charcoal.

Dior Diorshow Bold Brow is a tinted brow gel enriched with volumizing micro-fibers. The mousse-serum formula is infused with nourishing vitamins (E, B5, and B8) that help thicken brows instantly and over time. This brow shaping product is paired with a mini-sized brush that promises quick and easy application.

Available in three shades, for all hair colors.

Dior Diorblush Colour & Light is a practical new cheek product that combines a matte blush and a radiant highlighter. This double-ended sculpting stick features two creamy cheek products to enhance the cheekbones and illuminate the complexion.

Dior Rouge Dior arrives in six gorgeous matte or metallic shades:

• Sensual Matte - nude beige;
• Hypnotic Matte - rosewood;
• Eccentric - a rosy brown
• Enigmatic - wine-colored red;
• Sophisticated Matte - raspberry red
• 999 Metallic – the iconic orangey red with metallic finish.

Dior Le Vernis arrives in three metallic shades, along with a classic raspberry red.

• Metallics – purple grey
• Paradox – neo-classical green
• Enigma – champagne
• Sophisticated – red
