Dolce&Gabbana True Monica Collection

Published: 2013-02-22 by Marina Milojević in Makeup

The famous duo Dolce & Gabbana have announced last year Monica Bellucci as a new face of their makeup brand, alongside Scarlett Johansson. The exciting beauty collaboration has already resulted in a line of Monica Lipsticks, and now the brand announces a full color cosmetics range inspired by Monica Bellucci.

British Beauty Blogger has shared a couple of exclusive photos of the new Dolce&Gabbana collection, and I’m more than happy to pass this news to you, along with a couple of my own comments.

Dolce&Gabbana True Monica Collection is designed for Spring of 2013 and it brings a couple of makeup essentials in nude and seductive shades. The central piece of the collection is Dolce&Gabbana True Monica Eyeshadow Quad in Smokey. The luxurious golden compact combines four delicate hues: charcoal, light brown, chocolate brown, and slightly shimmering pale pink. The best way to apply them is to work with the darkest shades close to the lash line and the outer half of the eye. The lightest shade can be used as a base shadow or as a highlighter. £36.50

There are two new shades of Dolce&Gabbana True Monica Voluptuous Lipstick - Gentle Monica and True Monica, both very gentle neutrals, a lighter and a darker Dolce&Gabbana True Monica Voluptuous Lipstick shade. Monica Voluptuous Lipstick is highly pigmented and it gives medium to full coverage. These lipsticks are designed to make the lips softer, plumper and appearing voluptuous. Their creamy texture glides on smoothly, and it is very easy to build. The lipsticks are presented in gold-colored case with Monica’s signature in contrasting shade of red. £24.50

Dolce&Gabbana True Monica Nail Lacquers will be available in Gentle, Petal and Perfection shade. The first one is a raspberry sherbet shade, the middle one is a light lilac hue and the last one is a light amaranth pink. £17

Dolce&Gabbana True Monica Collection is launching in April.
